Η Xiaomi κυκλοφόρησε ενημερώσεις για αναβάθμιση σε MIUI 12 για τρία smartphone της: Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8 Lite και Mi Max 3. Και τα τρία έλαβαν μια σταθερή έκδοση υλικολογισμικού, αλλά με China ROM για την τοπική αγορά. Το υλικολογισμικό έχει τις ακόλουθες ονομασίες:

Το μέγεθός της αναβάθμισης σε MIUI 12 είναι 2,0-2,1 GB και κατανέμεται μέσω ΟΤΑ. Οι MIUI 12 Global ROM λογικά δεν θα πάρουν πάνω από μήνα μέχρι να έρθουν στα κινητά σας.
