Διαθέσιμο είναι από σήμερα το τo Apple iOS 11.2.5 με μία μεγάλη και αρκετές μικρές/περιεκτικές βελτιώσεις και διορθώσεις σφαλμάτων για τα iPhone και iPad. Η over-the-air αναβάθμιση είναι διαθέσιμη για όλους τους χρήστες με συμβατές iOS συσκευές. Είναι επίσης διαθέσιμη μέσω της εφαρμογής iTunes για λογισμικό macOS ή Windows ενώ το μέγεθός της δεν ξεπερνά τα 160-170MB..
Σύμφωνα με την Apple και αυτή η έκδοση φέρνει υποστήριξη για το HomePod πριν την επίσημη διάθεσή του τον επόμενο μήνα, μαζί με άλλες βελτιώσεις όπως δυνατότητα απαγγελίας ειδήσεων από την Siri, ενώ συνοδεύεται από δεκάδες άλλα μικρότερα bug fixes και μικρές βελτιώσεις στις επιδόσεις των συμβατών συσκευών.
